Looking into the possible strike on Syria by our own Warmongering US Gov't I think it is time to sit down and really look at where this is leading us to and the consequences it will have.
Barack Obama is insisting on a limited strike in Syria, yet when you look at wsr there is nothing limited about it. Proposals to use Tomahawk Missles are to be the main weapon of choice as we continue to fill the Mediterranean and Red Sea with our Navy's Finest. While in the middle of our Navy and Syria is Russia's Navy with more heading in as well as China now sending reinforcements to "monitor" the situation.
The Tomahawk missles are actually 1.5 million a piece. While they said it would cost US Taxpayers tens of millions they were greatly low balling it. An analyst said with the "limited" strike and cost of munitions and the likely possibility of defending we could easily spend a billion.
As we look throughout history the only country that has ever used nuclear weapondry on people as well as biological weapons or weapons of mass destruction was our very own US Gov't. There have been a few cases where nerve agents were dolled out in other countries, but given to by US.While the use of Nuclear Weapondry is fear amongst most people...I do not believe the American people...let alone most of the worlds population knows how devasating the use of nerve agents are and can be.
While the Arms race was on during the war, it was USA and RUSSIA who only got to and perfected the most toxic nerve agent available today: VX Gas, with Sarin right behind it. After the two of us perfected it, we decides as a global community to outlaw and ban the use and manufacture of such weapondry. Since then both RUSSIA and the United States has our VX Gas stored and stockpiled away as there is no where to safely release the agent.
Let's look at Nuclear Weapondry, while that can kill within the intended radious and have devastating effects to the people afterwards, a drop the size of a penny with VX Gas in a populated area can kill up to 18,000 people almost instantaneously. Between our two countries we have enough to kill everyone on this planet ten times over at least.
This Syrian Civil War aka Syrian Uprising is a no win for us to take either sides. While Assad runs a pro-Islamist Gov't, the rebels are linked to the many branches of Al Qaeda. Why would we want to support Islamist who are hell bent on beheading anyone that does not believe in their religon or Sha'ria Law? Or take the Rebel linked Al Qaeda who we have been to war with for over a decade and eho have killed thousands of our Countrymen and Women?
We need to just stay silent OR I believe this will lead us to the next world war and this time for retalitory strikes I believe it will finally hit home.
