Several things to keep in mind. We have 2 Events.
#1) The JR Event which we will need about 15-20 People to help with.
May 9th 2012 From Approx 4PM - 9PM

#2) The Main Event Which is on May 12th 2012 from 6AM - 1PM with varying end
times. We will also have a RBR Pre-Meeting on Friday May 11th 2012 at KCSD
701 Ball Ave from 6:30PM - 8:30PM. (We need about
80-85 People to help with the main event in various positions)

For those who have never worked the River Bank Run. This is the PREMIER
Communications event in Kent County. This event is one that you'll enjoy
and come back every year for more! The RBR event is HUGE and keeps growing!

One Terror Event from Obama Declaring Martial Law?

Are we literally one terror event away from Obama declaring Martial law? DHS has continued to tell us that the next terror event will be on American soil by Patriotic political groups, and we know the FBI has specialized in creating these events, and shifting the blame over to other political enemies.

This is what has transpired in the last few months:

Executive order: National Defense Resources Preparedness, signed into effect March 16, 2012. What does this order mean to the citizens of the United States? The President has granted himself the peacetime authority to approve the dispensing of all domestic;
1.) Energy Production
2.) Transportation
3.) Food
4.) Water supplies As he deems necessary to protect national security.

Just how much power does this order give to President Obama? The power over;
1.) Livestock; domestically owned.
2.) All food resources and resource facilities.
3.) Veterinary clinics.
4.) All forms of energy.
5.) All forms of water supply.
6.) All forms of transportation.
7.) Airwaves and communications, including cell, satellite, news, and internet. This is no less than the nationalization of all food, energy, water, and healthcare pipelines and providers in the country.

At this time the White House has issued no statement regarding the purpose regarding the signing of this executive order. There has been no explanation as to why this type of power has been placed in his hands at this time.

National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for fiscal year 2012, signed into effect Dec. 31st 2011. The act authorizes:
1.) $662 billion in funding
2.) Imposes new economic sanctions against Iran.
3.) Refocuses the strategic goals of NATO towards energy security.

Most controversially are the provisions which are included in Title X, Subtitle D, entitled “Counter-Terrorism”. Sub-sections 1021 and 1022, deal with the detention of persons of interest regarding terrorism. This could possibly include U.S. citizens on domestic soil, including arrests by members of the Armed Forces, and detained indefinitely without trial. What increases the speculation about his intent is the vagueness in which these sub-sections were written, and very well may be intended to include domestic disturbances regarding acts of Patriotism from a tyrannical government, as provided for by the Constitution of the United States.

Homeland Security issues FEMA camp activation in December 2011. This activation includes the retro-fitting of Military Installations, Prisons, and other detention facilities.

Civilian Inmate Labor Program, an unclassified document that describes in detail Army Regulation 210-35, which was revamped in January 2005, and now provides a policy for the creation of labor programs and prison camps on military installations.

H.R. 347 or Federal Restricted Building and Grounds Improvement Act of 2011, expands existing federal criminal statutes- Title 18, Section 1752 of the United States Code, originally passed in 1971, and amended again in 2006. Under the existing law, areas that qualify as restricted are defined ambiguously, and can include a building or grounds where anyone is being protected by the Secret Service is or may be, or are restricted due to an event designated as a special event of national significance.

What constitutes a national event is left to the discretion of the Department of Homeland Security. The provisions included in H.R. 347 are ambiguous and vague, and criminalizes any activity ‘that impedes or disrupts the orderly conduct of Government business or official functions, obstructs or impedes ingress or egress to or from any restricted building or grounds.” The penalty can be as little as a fine and up to one year of imprisonment or as much as ten years if a weapon or serious physical injury is involved.

We only felt led to report this information to our readers, and do not wish to create any undue animosity or fear. What we are intending to create is awareness of this mans actions. It may or may not be too late to do anything about his intentions, but it’s not too late to prepare for what almost seems inevitable. We must stand vigilant and continue to watch his actions through microscopic eyes, ensuring he doesn’t take the remainder of our freedoms. We must ensure he does not see a 2nd term!

Getting you the IMPORTANT information you need

With so many different social media apps that are out there, radio programs, and tv listings it is really difficult these days to figure out how big of an audience your information can reach. Multiple agencies are on facebook, twitter, myspace for frequent updates on keeping you safe as well as your local news, then sometimes severe weather updates in the corner of your television screens.

Information has dramatically changed in so many ways, so quickly, the actual printed newspaper is becoming obsolete very quickly. Many news papers are online with online editions and some have totally scrapped the paper print aspect of the business already.

Me, I do keep up on local events in my community as it is important. Not just the local community, but also I am aware of upcoming weather and incidents that may require the attention and knowledge of what is going on around me. Do I have feeds on twitter from different law enforcement agencies...yes, as well as facebook. But the one program that I have found to get much use out of that is still in the dark is NIXLE.

Nixle to me is almost like a twitter, but the feeds come from your local law enforcement agencies giving out important information. This could mean if severe weather is approaching they'll send out a message and you could read it on the site or have it sent to your phone sms. The local law enforcement agencies informs the community on important events and keeping the community in the loop on what is going on in their city. Also, for those who have children, school districts are on it as well, so it is encouraged to use NIXLE. It is a free program to use and participate in, and very useful. Most of the people in Emergency Management, Law Enforcement, EMS, as well as your local Emergency Response Teams are on Nixle to stay updated, and we all encourage you to become and stay informed as well.
