The American Dreams is only in American's Dreams

The American Dream is only in American’s Dreams

What is happening to our Unions is unbelievable. BIG BUSINESS thinks that they can push the "little guys" around. Unfortunately most of the American population consists of the "little guys" and it is the "little guys" who make things happen for the BIG BUSINESS to gain such a profit with such skeleton crews these days. Why the BIG profit and stock risings? It's not due to the booming economy of creating new jobs and hiring Americans? No, it is from slashing American jobs, outsourcing and importing foreign goods into the American way of life. Union busters consist of evil entities bent of breaking what little is left of this so-called "American Dream".

Somehow BIG BUSINESS has convinced our Government (You know the people who are supposed to "represent" us) that making $40,000 a year is WAY too much. The best saying I've heard along this past month is a sad, but truthful "joke" A CEO Exec, A Republican, and a Union member are sitting down at a table with 12 cookies. The CEO takes 11 cookies and gives one to the Republican and tells him "that union guys wants part of your cookie".

Not only are our rights and freedoms being taken away on a daily basis, but it seems to me that they've forgotten how we've became a nation of "democracy". Back when the Tea Party actually made sense, when the AMERICAN people fought back from over taxation and being given no representation. Now a days, it seems we have gone right back to it; only worse...so much for History Class and not repeating it. These days we are over taxed in so many ways, I can't believe so many are naive to believe we're not. Not only are we over taxed, but we are not being represented at all as a people. Look at all the rallies across the nation...these "representatives" are supposed to represent the people and what's in their best interests, not what's their independent belief.

Another thing that bothers me is School Budget cuts. It seems idiotic that the American public doesn't know we get taxed on a "school millage" Yes so even if we don't have kids, we pay a millage tax to the school for public education. I'm not against it. My problem is why are school budgets being cut when our school millage rises each year? The budgets should be increasing if not staying the same. And on top of that, the Government, (i.e. Michigan) has their profits of the LOTTERY go to the Michigan Public Schools Systems. So if every taxpayer is paying a millage for kids to go for public education, and all the profits from the lottery is also going, why are budgets being cut, schools being closed, teachers forced to take a pay-cuts, and others being laid off. Where is the money going, or my real question, is it even being put into the budget at all?

Today we are at the brink of another revolution. I do in my honest opinion believe the only way to regain our rights and freedoms is through change. Unfortunately, the only way these dramatic changes happen is through rebellions, uprising, and revolutions. Look at what is happening all over the globe, I'm surprised with all these 50 state rallies, they've been so peaceful. The American People still have hope things can be solved peacefully, it is only the rich who wish to take such dramatic and violent action.

While I have taken a few shots at the Republicans, I can honestly say it's not all their fault. It's the Politicians and government officials who have allowed these things to go on. Being brought into office by multi-billion dollar corporations’ only to be paid back to the 10th power by creating new bills with “special interests” in mind.

I believe, and this is my personal opinion; As I know others may disagree, become offended, I welcome the indifference. If I didn’t, where would I be? What would I represent, and why would I expect people to even consider what I’m expressing? I believe this country is headed in three very opposite and different directions; Communism, Socialism, and an Oligarchy.

What would provoke me to say those three murmured words in the backs of people’s mind? Those three words that are fearful to people who live and currently reside in a land built upon FREEDOM? Because in the ways of what is happening and has been happening is all becoming true. Yes I understand those are three very different words almost opposite of each other. Let me explain.

The Republicans as we have seen in the past month making a dramatic change that will affect the American people taking us into a world of communism. We have seen by the new power of the Mid-West the Republicans trying to strip away the basic freedoms and human rights to the American people. And this is only the start, while at the same time the Liberals have been forcibly buying/bailing out major corporations only to get into their industry (i.e. GM, Chrysler, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, ect.) slowly turning us into people who need to rely on the government to keep us going, pay us, and help us (Obamacare), which is a small but big step towards socialism. Side Note: while I agree America should have a national health care plan, what makes Obama think since millions of American's can't afford Healthcare that they could afford his and make it mandatory?

Don’t let me leave out Oligarchy. This is a word that has rarely come up, with so many not knowing the term, nor definition of it. Big Business/Corporations secretly push millions into campaigning for certain individuals into office only for them to become their puppeteer while they hold the strings. Yes, it seems like this doesn’t happen, but let’s take a look at the Koch Brothers who spend millions putting Republicans into office for their own personal gain. The latest to make headlines; Scott Walker, the Governor of Wisconsin.

I write this article not to be hostile, or motivate any kind of uprising. But I have always believed that any government should be working for the people. They should always remember their people is who made them, and THEIR COUNTRY. I do not wish for a civil uprising like the other countries worldwide; nor do I wish for another revolution in this country, as I know it’d be at least one hundred times worse. The only thing I wish for is for our FREEDOM and to be represented properly and honestly.

Before I end this writing, I must tell you two of my favorite quotes of all time by intelligent people. There are two ways to conquer and enslave a nation. One is by sword. The other is by debt.” -- John Adams 1735-1826 and “To be born free is an accident. To live free is a privilege. To die free is a responsibility.” -— Brig. General James Sehorn
