Provoking a 2nd Cold War (An Update)

So, with my views being expressed, and anyone following my thoughts and predictions on this site know that I have expressed my concerns for a second Cold War. And then today, not that long ago on RT, their website wrote an article backing my views (https://rt.com/news/iran-cold-war-talks-663/). With talks being minimal and progress making no headway we are still allowing Iran to continue their progress with Nuclear Power Research. While they have sent invitations to start talking again, it has been made clear from the Iranian Government that they will not stop the progress on their Nuclear program as they are still claiming that it is only for Power and not Weaponry.

Many are expressing their concerns, especially surrounding countries and many are watching them with a close eye. On top of being watched, the Israeli Army has been making moves to put on a full scale attack on the Nuclear Sites if need be. Not only that, our American Troops have moved heavily into the middle eastern regions and even outlying in the Chinese Waters.

And since we have such good ties with Syria and how well their country is doing (sarcasm), the Iranian Flotilla has entered Syrian waters and docked at the port of Tartus, about 220 Kilometers from the Syrian Capital. They have docked there to perform joint training exercises with the Syrian Navy. Good thing these two countries aren't provoking anyone.

While the world watches their eye on these two countries, Israel has stated that they are keeping an even closer eye on their "Joint Exercise" to make sure they do not enter their waters. If they do, I can see a full scale attack on the two military's navy by Israel. And if that happens, since the United States is not far behind, I can see them moving into place for reinforcement. And unfortunately if that happens, we know where the rest will end up and Countries will start taking sides and as we say here "The Shit will hit the fan".

We as America need to be cautious about this. All of our wars have generally been away, but if we are not careful this could turn into a home game and the opponents could be many.

When the Rich Wage WAR, it's the POOR who DIE

Even though this is a sentence of a lyric in a song I believe that the statement is 100% true. Look at what is going on in the world today, and I'm not just talking stateside (United States). I'm talking globally, worldwide, and streching from more than a few countries.
Look at the protests, the demonstrations and oppositions being shown. Some peaceful and some turning violent. Thankfully for the most part the United States has been peaceful with a few protestors getting tased and pepper sprayed.
The big powerful governments enacting new laws restricting their citizens and stripping them of their rights, while also giving more freedom to Big Corporations to do whatever they please. The small 1% control how things run, giving money to crooked politicians and then them returning the favor by changing laws, giving into special interest groups. In their lies the corruption and the ability to allow societies to turn into a dictatorship or rather an oligarchy.
When these things happen and the economy as a whole suffers, it is always put on the working class to try and pay for the problems caused by the government and the big businesses. Raise taxes, cut programs, dip into social security, let jobs go to foreign countries. And those problems exist everywhere. The title of this post refers to the Rich and Powerful pitting the poor against the poor. You may ask yourself, poor against poor? I'm not fighting with my neighnors. No, it's the working class who is pitted against the Law Enforcement and Miltary branches.
Believe it or not, just like us, they have a job to do and that is to uphold the law. Protesting is not illegal, but once you cross the lines then yes you have no right to be there and should be arrested. These men and women who serve as public defenders are trying to uphold the peace, but underneath the surface agreeing with your movement and stance on the subject. Once things get tense and riots start going it's the big business and government who are watching and laughing at the innocents lost in their huge leather chairs on the top story buildings.
Protest yes. But please respect the boundries given. In every union strike there is a line that neither police nor the union members cross. It's the mutual respect we have for one another as they are trying to  keep peace while letting us show our disgust for the employers who want to take us for everything. I hope some occupy members read this and take that statement to heart. Stop trying to blame law enforcement for this, as they are not our enemies in this battle. It is the Big Business and the politicians and law makers restricting us and oppressing us back further and worse than the great depression. The only thing worse is with the global markets it just doesn't affect one country, but many.
So please, underdstand we are all on the same side, and the the Military Branches and Law Enforcement Agencies are still part of the 99%.
Together WE STAND UNITED; Divided we fall.

Austerity: Word of the year to word of the decade?

I thought I would go to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary Site so I could properly get everyone the definition of Austerity. When going to their homepage, I looked at the homepage and they had two different categories that I found interesting. They had the most frequently looked up words within the past 24 hours and then in the past seven days.

Here is that list for the past 24 hours:
  Love
2.       Austerity
3.       Valentine
4.       Pragmatic
5.       Ambivalence
6.       Disposition
7.       Capitalism
8.       Socialism
9.       Tenacious

And here is the list for the past 7 days:
1.       Austerity
2.       Pragmatic
3.       Love
4.       Marriage
5.       Disposition
6.       Ambivalence
7.       Didactic
8.       Holistic
9.       Tenacious
10.   Socialism

Very interesting  just looking at those words, and the fact that a lot of people had to look up some of these move commonly used words like Love, Marriage, and Valentine. With the bailout problems that have loomed over the European States over the past few years it seems the word of the year over there seems to be Austerity. Before the bailouts over in Greece, Ireland, and other outlying states the word Austerity was hardly ever used, let alone known about. I have to admit, when I first heard that word used a few years back I had to look it up to make sure I understand what the global news was talking about.
So the definition of Austerity: the quality or state of being austere or enforced or extreme economy.
With some of these countries  going through bailouts and trying to get more bailout money, before the EU and IMF will grant more lending the Governments must come up with more austerity measures. What does that mean? It means to lower the minimum wage, raise taxes, cut government and public programs, reduce budget cuts, and push the citizens into poverty with no hope of a good future.
My next question is do we, as Americans feel that America is slowly taking an measures towards austerity? With major budget cuts in school funding, government programs, major house foreclosures, job cuts coming nationwide, taxes keep being raised, and more laws becoming stricter. Do you feel that we are headed in this direction, just not yet giving into extreme measures as the European states are?

K9-Unit Field Exercise Training

Well, I was hoping for a warm, clear weekend but all I got was snow covered, below freezing temperatures with pretty busy streets. Yes, I know that we are only in February and that we are in Michigan and the weather is unpredictable. I really cannot complain as we've had a very mild winter and the snow has only lasted a few days and then melts on us. Why I am complaining is because it has decided to snow on the day our K9 Teams are planning on doing some field training and exercise and I'm the one to go watch and see how their progress is doing.

I'm pretty excited in seeing their progress and glad they are getting to do something that they love. As tracking for Dogs is not really a job for them, but rather they feel it is a game and they get rewarded for their progress. K9 teams are important for all different teams in Law Enforcement, Emergency Services, and in our case SAR Teams.

Even though it is going to be cold out, I glad that we are working on getting all of our K9 teams Nationally Certified and each time they do field training it helps them that much more to achieve their goal. This year we hope to get three dogs certified; it would have been four, but one of our dogs had to be put down earlier this week due to complications. The dog, Bear who had to be put down because of health reasons was a good dog, a good tracker, and very well motivated. I've worked alongside him and the handler in the past and they made a great team, so I am saddened by the loss of a great member of our team.

So, while this is the beginning of many field trainings we are always looking for volunteers to help us along the way. If you'd like to play the lost victim where our teams go out and try to find you, please comment, send me a message and we can let you experience the joy of what K9 Teams are really about and how important they are to our operations.
